Dr Haron passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 94. He lived a full and remarkable life-energetic, passionate, and devoted to the public good. He was at once a medical doctor specializing in psychiatry, a rational thinker, a democrat, and a peace activist. From his youth, he had chosen a path of commitment: a path toward a socially just society, a society worth living in for all its inhabitants. He believed such a society could only be realized when individuals were free to develop their full creative potential.
