I compiled this book as a gift to myself - hence the title. Finally I made peace with all the recipes I collected throughout the years. From friends, family, magazines, my collection of over 150 cookbooks they were everywhere. Now I can cook up a storm just by going to the right page in this book! The recipes in this book are for people who like to cook and entertain friends and family. This book is a cornucopia of Eastern, Mediterranean, European, South -American, North-African and of course South-African dishes. A bit of absolutely anything and everything. I do not want to take any credit for the recipes, but want to dedicate this book to everyone who passed a recipe on because they thought that it was good, because they were right!
