Learn Chinese—Illustrated Chinese-English Dictionary is a bilingual dictionary based on the unabridged edition of Chinese Picture Dictionary for Beginners first compiled and published in 1998 by the People’s Education Press. It is designed to be used as a reference book for non-native learners of basic Chinese. The dictionary contains a collection of 1,965 Chinese characters, with another 694 corresponding Traditional Chinese characters, encompassing all 800 Level A characters and 804 Level B characters in the National Syllabus of Graded Words and Characters for Chinese Proficiency.
