The writers were patriotic enough to brave severe warnings and a heavy clampdown by a government that did not seem to want to hear them – Malaysians who answered the call of duty to ourfuture generations, and risked their comfort and well being so that they could tell their children and grandchildren: when it mattered the most, we stood up and were counted.
