In line with the Institute of Human Rights’ mission to promote and protect human rights, this Guidebook was created in order to equip Non-Government Organizations and Civil Society with fundamental knowledge on Human Rights principles, as well as the basics on the U.N. Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. This book also contains tools that can be used to make sure that the business sector upholds its duty to respect human rights in business operations.
