The central key economic region is the dynamic economic region in Vietnam, including 4 provinces of Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Da Nang city as the region's core. This is the 3rd largest economic zone in Vietnam, with great potential for entrepot ports and resort development. The region also has potential for the development of shipbuilding industry and maritime services. However, the agricultural and rural issues of this region are facing many difficulties and limitations, not developing correspondingly to the potential. This book is designed to solve related issues and provide solutions to promote internal resources of the agricultural economy of the Central region. The book content consists of 3 main parts: - Part 1: Overview of socio-economic development of the Central Vietnam key economic region for the 2008-2018 period; - Part 2: Part 2: Key factors in the process of agricultural and rural development in the Central Vietnam key economic region; Part 3: Agricultural and rural development experience of some other countries; recommendations to promote agricultural and rural development in the key economic region of Central Vietnam.
