"Quoc Trieu Hinh Luat", also known as the "Luat Hong Đuc" is the name of the "Law of Le Dynasty", is one of the most important laws of Vietnam during the feudal period. This is the official law of Đai Viet in the early Le Dynasty (1428-1527) which is still fully preserved. It can be considered as a comprehensive set of laws covering many different legal fields such as: Criminal law, civil law, procedural law, marriage-family law, administrative law... This law is not only highly appreciated compared to the legal achievements of the previous dynasties, but also has many important meanings for the compilation of many other laws of the feudal dynasties of Vietnam after that. The research results of the humanistic and progressive values of the Le dynasty's law will contribute to the conservation, inheritance and promotion of national cultural heritages and legal traditions in Vietnam today. More importantly, through the study of these laws, lawmakers will draw on but experience with the process of law-making, administrative reform and judicial reform.
