Khuong Quang Dong was born in Nghe An and started his first walk on the sidewalk of Hanoi, then grew up in Saigon. At 17, after passing the baccalaureate, he went to France to study abroad. Wen graduated from the Paris School of Mining and successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis in Grenoble University. He worked at the Michelin Tire Company for 7 years, then worked for Renault car company until he retired. The circumstances of the country at that time led him to settle down and work in France. Getting married and integrating into French society helped him understand the country, its people and imbue its culture. Having a Vietnamese cultural background, imbued with French culture, and being exposed to many people in the world, he created a harmonious life between East and West, a multicultural lifestyle. This book records the experiences of living in France for decades as well as sharing personal experiences of the author with those who want to learn about France.
