The epic of the Ede people formed very early. It reflects aspects of the material and spiritual life of the Ede people in the prehistoric period. The study of words indicating animals has long been concerned by scientists, a lot of research has been done. However, this issue has been mainly investigated in folklore such as Vietnamese idioms, proverbs and folk songs, but not for the epic of the Ede people. The main contents of this book include: 1. Systematizing theoretical issues related to the research topic on the meaning of words, identification theory, the relationship between language and culture. 2. Investigate, statistic, establish and analyze the system of words identifying animals in the epic of the Ede people.
