The International Conference on Alh. (Dr.) Mamman Shata Katsina was organized by the Centre for Research in Nigerian Languages, Translation and Folklore (CRNLT&F), Bayero University, Kano, in conjunction with the Department of Nigerian Languages and the Department of Linguistics and Foreign Languages from the 2nd to 4th of September 2018. The Opening Ceremony was held at Musa Abdullahi Auditorium, New Campus, Bayero University, Kano.
