Dr Clement Imuetinyan Alile was born on 1" of April 1943 to the family of Pa James Usiomoifo Alile (JP) and Princess Annah Efionayi (JP) nee Odia, both of blessed memory. A Veterinary Surgeon by profession, he attended Holy Trinity Grammar School, Sabongida-Ora; graduating with six (6) distinctions, following which he proceeded in 1963 to the University of Ibadan on Mid-West Government Scholarship where he earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 1969. After two years in the Civil Service, he proceeded in 1971 to the University of California, Davis, USA for his first Master's degree in Comparative Pathology with emphasis on Avian Diseases; and a second Master's degree in Preventive Veterinary Medicine (MPVM); thus qualifying as an Epidemiologist.
