This book is a synopsis of Nigeria's centenary journey from 1914 to 2014 as a tripod structure created by British colonial masters which began with annexation of Lagos as a Royal Colony in 1861 via gun-boat diplomacy and subsequently conquered Pre-colonial Nigerian societies that were developing at their own respective paces and entrenched British Capitalist System. The Colonial and Post-colonial phenomena produced the present day socio-economic and political dispositions of Nigeria. Wrong teaching and wrong method of teaching over a long period of time are part and parcel of Nigeria's problems. Ethnicism, regionalism, secession, religious bigotry, general insecurity, buccaneering corruption, rapacious racketeering, other economic sabotage and lackadaisical attitude are tilting this rich nation to a state of failure and warring situation which must be eradicated. Hence, the future of Nigerians can only be found in primary understanding of their humanity by re-learning the essentials of human nature, human needs and it is only after a thorough awareness of what a human being is, that a meaningful step forward could be achieved.
