Sixty Years Long March Towards Democracy is the book on general elections conducted in Nigeria between 1951 and 2011. The first four elections were conducted under the parliamentary system while the rest were conducted under the presidential system of government. The author participated as an Electoral Officer of Kontagora Federal Constituency in in 1959 19 and as Chief Electoral Officer of the Federation of Nigeria, and Executive Secretary of Federal Electoral Commission (FEDECO) during the 1979 General Elections but exercised his civil rights as a voter at other elections. The book records the activities that occurred during these elections, especially the 1959 and 1979 elections during which the author played prominent roles.
