The hope is to introduce the English reader to Cebuano way of life, currents of thought, and creative expression. These stories reflect diversity in their narratives There is social interest in the stories and the collection mirrors some of the changes that have taken place in society. Although they do not attempt a panoramic view of society, they make their own and special contribution.
