Then came the Chinese under the guise of 'friendship'. China's quest to rule the world is the catalyst for its incursion into Africa and other continents through its Belt and Road Initiative (BIR). Under the program, the Chinese have embarked on infrastructure development across Africa in a policy it claimed would produce a win-win outcome for all participants. However, the quantity and sustainability of debt contracted by some African states for Chinese built infrastructure have become a valid concern. Some analysts describe what is now known as China debt diplomacy as a long term goal to entrap African nations in debt commitments they cannot fulfill; with the ultimate aim of leveraging this to obtain resources, commodities and key assets. The book is therefore intended to highlight the destructive interventionist programs initiated by Beijing to colonize Africa. From all indications, China is not interested in helping Africans to develop their resources. It is in the continent as part of its agenda for world domination.
