Igbo Nation: History & Challenges of Rebirth and Development is a brief account of Ndigbo in history, a summary account of their chequered experiences, the processes of their emergence as an ethnic nationality, their brutal encounter with British colonialism, their forced amalgamation with other ethnic nationalities into an artificial federation structured to put Ndigbo at grave political and economic marginal position; victims of series of political, economic and religious crises that continue to bedevil the Nigerian federation the high-point of which is the Nigeria-Biafra war in which Ndigbo suffered unprecedented genocide for which nobody has been held responsible; their territory greatly devastated by war and fragmented by punitive measures to frustrate their political and economic survival as a people.
