Games godfathers play is a vivid account of the political games usually played by the Nigerian political elites to attain the position of leadership. It is Nigeria's experience of godfatherism epitomized by high degree of covetousness of the nation's political godfathers. It explains a specie of corrupt practices by the political elites which is solely to their own benefit and which, since the attainment of Independent, especially during the Fourth Republic has jeopardized the nation’s overall development. The Author notes that it shall be difficult to play politics in Nigeria without political godfathers. He however put forward a panacea: the road map to Nigeria's development.
