Despite their significant contribution creativity unique talents and leadership skills, women in the performing arts sector continue to struggle and face barriers in their path to accessing senior leadership roles and positions. Even though legislative statues have been put in place to help women only a few women have managed to acquire promotion and prestige. Most of the female population continue to experience discrimination in salary prestige and promotion.
