The Nigerian Telecommunication industry has undergone series of challenges since the roll out of Global System for Mobiles in commercial quantity. This has necessitated enactment and amendment of the principal Act, the Nigerian Communications Act, regulating the telecommunications industry while series of regulations and guidelines were made pursuant to the Act.
