Diplomacy is the best hope for humanity. The survival of the species is in the hands of peacemakers who are able to maintain global tranquility in the midst of turbulence and interstate conflicts. The failure of diplomats could trigger another devastating world war. States must actively collaborate with each other and formulate their foreign policies with the goal of sustaining life and civilization on earth, as well as helping those in need. The alternative is utterly unthinkable.
