This book entitled Poverty in Nigeria: Causes, Manifestations and Alleviation Strategies is the fourth in the series of books project embarked upon by the Faculty, comprising of five pace-setting scholarly books. The book covers seventeen chapters, addressing the nature, causes, manifestations, and the alleviation/eradication strategies to be put in place by policy makers at all levels. Each of the 17 chapters covers conceptual explanation, discussion of the causes of poverty and its characteristics and manifestations as well as strategies to be used for poverty eradication/alleviation in Nigeria and other developing economies.
