Product Description

The Armistice of Mudros, signed between the Ottoman Empire and the Allied Powers on October 30, 1918, marked a turning point in Turkish history. The occupation activities initiated by the Allied Powers after the armistice paved the way for the start of the National Struggle under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) Pasha. Despite numerous military, political, and economic problems, the National Struggle was won thanks to the determination and resolve of the Turkish nation, thus proving to the whole world that the Turks could not be enslaved. During the National Struggle, the Turkish Nation faced many problems. In this context, while dealing with occupying forces on one hand, it was necessary to fight against individuals who opposed the Turkish War of Independence on the other. This study will feature the life stories of individuals who opposed the Turkish War of Independence through their activities and actions during that period.
