Echoes of Life showcases the rich biodiversity of the Sungai Pulai Mangroves. Merambong Island and the Merambong Seagrass Meadow. The three habitats each has its own unique bio-assemblages and each is represented by a group of common organisms. These locations sited in the southwest of Johor state are relatively not well studied for their floral and faunal contents. This is the first attempt at documenting the terrestrial and marine lives of the three distinct areas as well as the activities of Man, including the Sea Gypsies who have settled along Sungai Pulai since time immemorial.
