Dr Obafemi Jegede research focus is on traditional African belief systems and indigenous knowledge. This book is the culmination of 6 years of fieldwork in Western Nigeria where Dr. Jegede studied the efficacy of herbal cures and Ifa incantations as used by traditional Yoruba healers (babalawos).
