This work is the result of Short-term Project II of the Committee for the compilation of Historical Fact and edited by this committee. This volume represents the factional struggle between the Us and Bos and Thakin within the Union Party and its resultant weakening. It also describes efforts to establish Buddhism as State Religion, and consequences of there support or opposition. It also deals with problem of demanding for formation of States by ethnic groups
