This book gives introduction to the morphology of rattan plants. It discussed the various propsgstion techniques in rattans cultivations in the natural forests and interplanting in various trees plantations. The rattan harvesting techniques, primary processing which include daglazing, oil-curing process, drying fumigation, bleaching and rattans grading, as well as the techniques used rattan treatment especially on the oil-curing process are described in detail.
