This booklet attempts to view early interactions between India and Myanmar through a few case studies which focus on region to region or place to region interactions.Buddhism was one of the conduits that facilitated civilizational dialogues between the two countries. This understanding of interactions does not rest on the models of 'Greater India'and 'Indianization' of South-east Asia.
