This publication is about the 2016 Fiji Ant-Mealybug Bioinvasion of Fijis islands, cities, villages, homes and gardens by "new" invasive alien ants and the mealybugs, scale insects and other sap-sucking insects that are tended by the ants. As we go about our daily business to promote "sustainable" development, address climate change and promote conservation, a silent multi-front invasion threatens health, livelihood, cultural and environmental security in Fiji.
