A Kampala Murder Plot is about a murder that takes place shortly after a guerilla forces takes over state power and most police officers are still in hiding. The guerillas are handling (but also mishandling) police work with cheerful disregard for police procedure – a seemingly heinous offence in the eyes of the few returned cops that include the domineering Director of CID.
