The Fifth Phase Government took office determined to push forward a programme of industrialization with the intention that Tanzania should become a middle income country by 2025. This book examines the various parts of that programme, placing them in context and assessing the challenges which they present for the economy as a whole. It argues that the sectors for development are dependent on each other and that success will depend on how well they link together.
