The ensuing book is a compendium of the seventeen papers presented in various technical sessions by the scholars in the national seminar on Social Inclusion and empowerment through Education : A Critical Appraisal of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan rganized by G B Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad and sponsored by Indian council of social science Research , New Delhi and was hosted in March 2018. It is known that Sarva Siksha Abhiyan is one of the flagship Programmes of the Government of India and given the highest Priority in terms of allocation and Coverage with the primary education on a missionary mode.
