Maritime security in general and non-traditional maritime security in particular in Southeast Asia are the complex security challenges facing the international community of interests in the region. However, the study of non-traditional security challenges in the Southeast Asia Sea, cooperation in responding to non-traditional maritime security challenges, and the participation of Vietnam in these cooperation mechanisms has not received the attention of researchers and policy makers in Vietnam.
