Vietnam is a country formed early in the Southeast Asia - Pacific region, with the exchange of economy, culture with the region and the world for a long time. The sign of civilization here manifests on the one hand is that in the traditional villages and on the other hand is in the ancient cities that soon appeared in Vietnamese history. This book covers the research and introduction of 13 ancient cities formed and developed in the period from the third to the nineteenth century in Vietnam in terms of history, economy and culture. In these selected old cities, some that appeared early, are now extinguished as a small hamlet. There are cities that have completely disappeared leaving only a few vestiges on the surface or in the ground, but there are also cities that exist and continue to grow to this day and become modern cities.
