TO BEGIN WITH, Malaysia was neither there nor here when it comes to its Creative Industry. Of course, this observation was made earlier in 2011 when the Creative Industry had only contributed 1.27% to Malaysia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This may not be a positive statement to start an article such as this, but it is that bitter truth that needed to be dealt with that had led us to a realisation. A realisation that ignited thinking.
