For the last several decades the problems of refugees have been gruesome all over the world. In recent past the Syrian refugees problems and Rohingyas refugee crisis have been the center of global attention. Modern History of refugee movement in south Asia commenced with the independence of India and Pakistan from Britishers. Due to this Partion approximately 8 million Hindus and Sikhs were forced to leave their homes in Pakistan and move to India and 7 million Muslims were displaced from their homes in India and forced to go to Pakistan.
