The present book, which is first-of-its kind study of the psychosocial impact of the pandemic and the Lockdown on the persons with Disabilities (PwDs), may prove useful to PwDs, and Children With Special Needs (CwSNs) and thier caregivers. Written by the eminent Psychologists and Counsellors, Ms Rekha Chauhan and Dr Harsheeta, the Lead Researchers of this segment, as part of the study Group constituted by the National Book Trust, India for its recently launched Corona Studies Series, the book, based on actual case studies, personal interviews, and responses to an online survey conducted during lockdown, not only provides insights on the psychosocial impact of the pandemic, but also offers practical tips to cope up with the paradigm shift in lifestyle as well as emotional and mental changes brought about by it among the differently-abled individuals.
