Many authors "Impressions of Hanoi - from the sketches of French colonial buildings" is a bilingual Vietnamese - English Artbook book released by Wings Books (Kim Dong Publishing House). This book is the work of the Urban Sketchers Hanoi group. The book gathers nearly 150 unique illustrations of different materials from architects, professional and amateur painters who share the same love with Hanoi. In addition, the book also records the studies and investigations of many leading professors, doctors, architects and experts in Vietnam on a period of history of formation and development of Hanoi associated with the French architectural works. In Hanoi, there are more than 1,000 French-style villas, many French-style buildings still exist and become cultural heritage spaces of Hanoi such as Hanoi Opera House, St. Joseph's Cathedral, Hanoi Railway Station, prison Maison Central, Long Bien Bridge, State Bank ... Each architectural work has its own story associated with the history of each stage of urban development.
