Sunitha Srinivasan Started writing when she was eight years old. she has always been interested in times gone by, and previously chronicled the history of the Nilgiris. her articles have been published in the Indian Express, The Hindu and The Illustrated weekly of India. Trailblazers of the Travancore Plantations is her first book. Sunitha Grew up on an estate in the erstwhile Central Travancore. She personally know most of the people she has written about. over a two years period, she has done exhaustive research on the early development of the region. the resulting historical narrative contains of fair bit of interesting information's as well as delightful sketches of each of the characters from a perspective of innocence and pure delight.
