The present book makes an in-depth analysis of both historical as well as recent development in Gilgit-Baltistan a territory illegally occupied by Pakistan. The politico-security establishment of Pakistan has, over the years, not only marginalised the indigenous people of Gilgit-Baltistan, but also been exploiting the precious natural resources with the help of outside powers having vested interested in the region. This has serious ramification on the stability and overall peace and security in the region.
