Contributed articles presented at the Seminar on Family and Clan in Tribal Societies of North East India, jointly organised by North Eastern Social Research Centre, Guwahati and Tribal Study Centre, Eastern Theological Centre, Jorhat, India, held during 26-27 June 2014, at Guwahati, India. They present the traditional practices and capture the changes that have taken place in family and clan in modern times.
