Xian Xinghai was a great “people’s musician” in modern Chinese history, whose belongings are mostly collected in the Chinese National Academy of Arts. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Macao’s Handover to China, the Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum borrowed some of the belongings for exhibition in Macao. This array of exhibits is now illustrated in this book in Chinese, Portuguese and English, including his certificates, diaries, letters, manuscripts, violins and clothes, through which the public is expected to better understand his life and artistic achievements.
