Poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s daughter Moneeza Hashmi, herself a significant figure of Pakistani art and culture, has, after 40 years, carried out a conversation with her father at length, taking her time to reflect on life over the years and then finally deciding to say what she couldn’t say to her father while he was alive. The questions which Moneeza Hashmi wanted to ask from her father, and the discussions she wished to hold with him are now compiled in this book called ‘Conversations with my father’ published by Sang-e-Meel.
