This 2022 Guidelines as in the previous one covers various asset classes. There are Guidelines on real estate valuation, business valuation, plant and machinery valuation, intellectual property and intangible assets valuation as well as specific local valuations. The need to adopt proper standards of valuation is important. In this latest edition we have updated our standards in line with the International Valuation Standards which were recently updated with effect from 2022. The SISV Valuation Standards and Practice Guidelines Committee will continue to work on the standards in tandem with the demands by the industry in order for the valuation profession to remain relevant.
