That is the mind of a young Vietnamese girl who settled in the US, but at the same time it is also the heart of many people with two homelands on this planet. Will they find refuge in their multi-faceted souls or forever stuck in the corridor between two doors, longing to belong? Nguyen Dan Thy (or Thy Nguyen) was born in Saigon, Vietnam and moved to Houston, Texas when she was a middle school student. Although she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business from Babson University, Dan Thy has always been fascinated by the arts and especially loves writing. Over the years, she has always focused on social changes for marginalized groups, especially those who experience unconscious racial discrimination and insults.
