Time and Chance is an inspiring story about Charles Ndibui, a pioneer Kenyan accountant who worked at the American Embassy for 41 years, from 1975 to 2016. Over the course of the eight chapters of this book, Charles takes us through the highs and lows of his life, including how he managed to survive the 1998 terrorist Bomb Blast relatively unscathed and his miraculous escape from death following a grisly road accident in 1993. The book leaves us pondering as to whether those close shaves with death were miracles or simply stokes of good luck on his part.
