Philippines v. China is considered the most important case involving international law in this century, and probably in the next. We have presented in this slim volume the more important provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), and the case of Magallona v. Ermita, which believe would be necessary to fully explain the ruling of the Arbitral Tribunal.
