The content of the book is divided into three main parts, covering issues about the history, culture and heritage of Champa as well as the current Cham community. The first part, “Champa Historical and Cultural Issues”, includes articles on Champa history as seen from archeological documents, inscriptions and ancient bibliographies. The authors have mentioned a number of important issues in the history of Champa as well as the role of the ancient Champa citadel, the rise and fall of the nagara/political center through the periods. The second part, Cultural and religious issues, includes articles on the introduction and development of religions in Champa, outstanding cultural issues of the current Cham community. The third part - Heritage and development, including articles and discussions on conservation and promotion of heritage values of Champa culture includes tangible (fortress, ancient temples) and intangible (festival) heritage.
