Religious policy under the Nguyen Dynasty, especially under King Tu Duc, was a period that left profound imprints and played an important role in the policy towards feudal religion in Vietnam. It can be said that the Nguyen dynasty really mastered and perfected the regime during the first four dynasties. The main directions of social management policy in general and religious policy in particular of the Nguyen Dynasty were basically formed and developed at this stage. The Tu Duc period was the most notable focus when studying the religious policy of the Nguyen Dynasty, this was a very complicated period, the court had to deal with Western colonists as well as the religion they brought.
