American Pastor Duncan Bernado is picking up his old friend (and college crush), Nice, from the Nairobi airport. Seemingly innocent Nice is coming for some R&R – she’s the last person you’d expect to actually be smuggling narcotics. Duncan’s car crashes on the way home and he awakes to find himself captive to a sociopathic policeman and his charmingly amoral associate – Nice is gone. Plucked from his expat bubble, Duncan must plunge into the moral complexities of the under-city to get her back. But how deep can Duncan go without destroying his faith and himself?
