Sensible, reserved Rose has lost most of her sight and is living in Ferndale Rest Home. She is coerced into accepting a ticket to a concert. Rose gets to know one of her fellow residents and to her great surprise discovers a connection. Living life to the full, it turns out, depends neither on age nor on the sharpness of one's sight.
